4-H Club: It's that time again! Our first 4H meeting is this month. All 4th and 5th graders will be attending this first meeting to learn what 4H is all about. If they wish to join 4H, they will be given a membership card to fill out and return along with a parish 4H fee. Please return this information promptly so we can prepare for our first official club meeting in October.
Garden Club: The Lion Garden Club is for 3rd-5th graders willing to learn about healthy eating and growing plants! We are excited for the the new additions to the club this year such as banana peppers and our very own pumpkin patch! The club meets once a month after school and waters the plants during PE and recess as needed. Our first meeting will be this month depending on the weather. We hope to see some new members this year!
Art Club: The Lion Art Club is open to grades 2nd-5th for those who would like to meet after school one day per month. This will be under the supervision of Ms. Scioneaux and Mrs. Boudreaux. The Lion Art Club's mission is to provide our art club members the opportunity to express individuality through the creation of artwork. The students will learn about art history, obtain art skills, and utilize these in order to express creativity. A $5 fee will be required in order to pay for supplies.
