As part of its regular meeting on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2019, the St. Mary Parish School Board recognized and congratulated the following individuals:

• Student of the Month: Thornton Jones, 12th Grade (Berwick High School)
• Student of the Month: Adiecia Bourgeois, 12th Grade (Centerville High School)
• Student of the Month: Lily Viator, 6th Grade (Morgan City Junior High School)
  
  
• Employee of the Month: Ms. Kirstine Campbell,  Biology Teacher (Berwick High School)
• Employee of the Month: Ms. Angela Brightwell,  Secretary (Centerville High School)
• Employee of the Month: Ms. April Leonard,  Art Teacher (Morgan City Junior High School)

The School Board also recognized the 2019-20 St. Mary Parish Teachers of the Year:

• Elementary: Ms. Celeste Pipes (Bayou Vista Elementary School)
• Junior High: Ms. Robbie Leblanc (Centerville High School)
