District Follows State Recommendations for Assessment of Computer Systems

School districts statewide have encountered a very serious cyber attack that has critically impacted their operations and file systems. To prevent further spread, the state is requiring that school systems conduct a 6-phase assessment of their computer systems. St. Mary Parish is in the process of completing these mandates; as a result, systems that rely on Internet access will be temporarily unavailable from inside the school district.

Login to applications not locally hosted (including Office 365, Blackboard, TRES, etc.) may be affected even from outside the district if credentials cannot be verified by our systems.
