Elementary Teacher of the Year

Ms. Greta Lowe from W. P. Foster has been teaching for seven years. She taught ELA and Science in fourth and fifth grade for the first three years of her career. Mrs. Lowe currently teaches Math, Social Studies, and Science in Kindergarten. She formerly served as a paraprofessional for 18 years. From her principal:  Ms. Lowe is a great kindergarten teacher; she is so good with the students.  I am glad to have her.   

Junior High Teacher of the Year

Ms. Jacqueline Nguyen is a 6th grade Social Studies teacher a MCJHS.  She is head of the Social Studies department.  From her principal: She goes out of her way to help everyone, but especially with making sure our new teachers are supported. 

High School Teacher of the Year

Coach Chasity Toups has been teaching for 11 years, all 11 are at PHS. She teaches EMR, Technical Writing, Health and PE, and Allied Health. She is also our Athletic Director and the head volleyball coach. From her principal – I am proud of her, and she deserves it.  She really does a good job.
