Principal’s Pen:
Happy New Year! We are thankful we made it through 2022 and look forward to a brighter, smoother 2023. Want to kick start the new year on the right foot? Spend extra time reading with your children, writing with them, and practicing basic math. Mastering basic reading, writing, and math skills increases the chances of success in future learning.
Outerwear:
While it is no secret our weather has been crazy, we anticipate that at some point we will have prolonged school days with cold temperatures. Remember that regardless of the temperature, all students are expected to be in appropriate SMP attire, including jackets and sweatshirts. Students who travel to school with jackets that do not meet the parish policy will have to remove it and will be offered a chance to borrow a jacket if needed. Thank you to all parents who ensure their child follows the parish dress code day in and day out.
