Army Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) is high school class offered to instill leadership, followership, teamwork, professionalism, confidence, discipline, life skills and a sense of service above self. Classes include but are not limited to history, culture, diversity, managing stress, health, first aid, careers, fitness, public speaking, personal management, safety, plans/operations, supply/logistics and public affairs. We are not a recruitment program, our goal is to help students graduate and join the workforce, college and or the military. Our attendance, graduation and after high school success rates are higher than the national average. The Morgan City High Army JROTC Tiger Battalion is diverse and participates in over 100 community events annually. The program offers 5 after school competitive teams at no cost and we have over 40 years of combined leadership and mentoring experience.
