Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Amy Adams

I'm originally from Michigan and have lived in Louisiana for 9 years. I graduated from MCC in 2006 with an Associates in Business Administration. I continued my education at Nicholls State University where I graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Studies. I am currently in the process of completing my Education Degree. I recently just became a Mother and words cannot explain what a joy that has been. :) Currently I am in my second year at Franklin Senior High teaching environmental Science to the incoming Freshman & ACT Prep to our Juniors. My goal for the year is to enrich each students life by making them excited about school and have them walk away with the tools and knowledge to succeed in further education. In our science class I am an activity based teacher. Each chapter we have our discussions/study guide and then activities that supplement them. In my ACT Prep my main goal is to find what they need help in most and focus on that so that they may achieve the highest ACT score possible. In addition to teaching this is my first year where I also am the assistant volleyball coach.  I have an open door policy with my students and that is the same for parents.

My schedule for the first semester is as follows:

1 - Professional

2 - Environmental Science

3 - Environmental Science

4 - ACT Prep
