Hi, I am Danielle Grow. I am a resident of Berwick, but grew up in Morgan City. I graduated college from Nicholls State University with a Bachelor's degree. I am certified to teach grades Pre-K through 3rd. I started teaching at Hattie Watts in 2010. This is currently my 9th year teaching Kindergarten. I love Kindergarten because I get to see their little minds grow each day! The innocence of the students is my favorite. My students are like my children. I love Hattie Watts and cannot imagine myself any other place.
A little bit about myself. My husbands name is Scott Grow. We have been married for 7 years. We have one daughter named Elizabeth. She is 3 1/2 years old. She is our little pride and joy and keeps us on our toes every waking minute. We are a very close family and love to spend time with our family and friends. My hobbies are shopping, embroidering, being outside, and traveling. My favorite place to go is the beach! I often find myself keeping busy and do not like much down time. We are definitely an "on the go" type of family.
My goal as a teacher is to create leaders. I pray my students leave with confidence in knowing what they can and will do. All children are unique in their own way, that is what makes them special. I want my students to reach for the stars. I want them to know that no goal is too big, and if you work hard all things are possible. Parents, please feel free to contact me about anything. I am an open book and hope that you can come to me with any concerns or joys! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to teach your little ones! It will be an amazing year full of learning and memories.
