Transportation: We're Rollin'

The St. Mary Parish School Board maintains one of the safest fleets in the state. We operate approximately 55 buses, transporting thousands of students safely to and from school each day. There are around 80 bus drivers and 10+ bus attendants who work closely with our students, families and the public every day. We travel roughly 1 million miles providing a safe, reliable, and efficient bus service that meets the needs of students and their families. This includes regular education, special education transportation, field trips, after-school runs, midday runs, and athletics. The Transportation Department works rigorously daily to keep the wheels on the bus moving safely and lawfully. 

It is the goal of the Transportation Department to ensure a positive bus experience and, for their safety, students must follow the directions of their bus driver and follow all bus rules.
