National Unity Day Celebrations

National Unity Day

In conjunction with National Bullying Awareness, National Unity Day will be celebrated throughout the parish at schools, district offices and among Red Ribbon Committee members on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. All students will be signing anti-bullying pledges throughout the week to confirm their commitment to living a bully-free lifestyle.

In addition to the pledge cards, students are asked to wear orange as a symbolic representation of their stand against bullying on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. All district offices and Red Ribbon Committee members are also asked to wear orange to show their support.  Schools that are unable to celebrate on Wednesday, October 26th because of prior commitments, will hold celebrations on different days. Schools use National Unity Day as an opportunity to continue to bring awareness to the issues related to bullying.
