Learning That Inspires, From Kindergarten to Graduation
At St. Mary Parish Public Schools, every grade level is a step toward a brighter future! 🎓✨
Our K–12 curriculum is designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and prepare students for success at every stage of their journey. In the early years, children develop strong skills in reading, math, science, and social studies—while also exploring art, music, and physical education that keep learning fun and engaging.
As they grow, students have access to advanced classes, electives, and hands-on learning experiences that let them discover their passions and talents. By high school, they’re ready to explore college prep, career pathways, and real-world opportunities that set them on the road to success. With caring teachers, innovative programs, and a focus on preparing students for tomorrow, St. Mary Parish Schools make learning exciting from start to finish! 🚀📚
School Literacy Plans
St. Mary Parish Schools are dedicated to building strong readers and confident problem-solvers. Our literacy and numeracy plans provide students with the skills they need to excel in the classroom and beyond, supported by high-quality teaching and innovative learning opportunities. All Literacy Plans can be found on each school's website.
Continuous Learning Plan
The St. Mary Parish Public Schools recognizes that there may be occasions which require the closure of district schools, including events such as weather and health emergencies. If an emergency occurs, the district will make every effort to ensure that educational opportunities for our students can continue while they are at home. In accordance with BESE policy, each school system must maintain a written Continuous Learning Plan for modified operations during school closures. While the safety of students and staff remains the highest priority, St. Mary Parish Public Schools is committed to providing consistent access to instruction in order to minimize unfinished learning and maintain educational progress. The CLP is available for viewing.
