2019-20 School Calendar
The 2019-2020 school session will begin Thursday, August 8, 2019.
- In-Service workshop days for all teachers will be August 5 - 7, 2019. Note that these are non-attendance days for students.
- Students will report for registration and organization of classes at the regular time on Thursday, August 8, 2019 and will attend a full day of school.
- Buses will begin transporting students on this date.
- Cafeterias will begin operations on Thursday, August 8, 2019.

SENIORS (12TH GRADE)
Seniors last official day will be determined at a later date. All books will be turned in before taking exams, and seniors may be dismissed at the regular closing time except for class meetings. Report cards will be given to seniors at the last class meeting before graduation with the exception of those who have not turned in books or paid fines owed.
Seniors may not receive report cards, diplomas, or participate in graduation unless all books are returned or fines are paid. Regular school clothes shall be worn to all senior meetings. Graduation dates will be announced later.
Seniors not meeting all requirements for graduation, including a passing score on all necessary components of the graduation exit exam will not be allowed to participate in graduation activities.
All students in grades 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10 and 11 will have regular classes through May 25, 2020. Books will be turned in on this day. Assessment for lost or damaged books, library fines, etc., will be settled on this day. Report cards will not be given, and grades or credits will be withheld until all assessments and fines are paid. Failure to comply may result in the student being denied registration into the schools of St. Mary Parish the following school session. There will be no formal graduation for eighth graders. Last day for school for pre-kindergarten, kindergarten and 8th grade students will be determined at a later date. Cafeterias will serve lunch through Monday, May 25, 2020.
The primary grades may have parties the last hour of the school day before Christmas, Halloween, and Easter.
