Secretary/Administrative Professional Week Proclamation
Posted by District on 4/19/2021From Dr. Bagwell:
On behalf of St. Mary Parish Schools, I want to extend a sincere appreciation to all of our school and district office secretaries throughout the parish! I’m sure we all agree that our schools and offices would not run smoothly without the efforts of our literal “frontline” office staff who field phone calls, tend to sick children, and respond to emails in a simultaneous and calm manner.
Thank you for the many hours you spend keeping everything running and attending to the wide variety of duties you are asked to do in a single day. I hope your week is filled with acknowledgements of how grateful we are for your dedication!

Voters Opt to Support Ballot Measure
Posted by District on 3/21/2021From Dr. Bagwell:
On behalf of the St. Mary Parish School Board, I wish to deeply thank the thousands of voters who participated in Saturday's election. The overwhelming approval of the ballot measure to offer an increasingly competitive salary to district educators and staff demonstrates the level of support and prioritization that public schools hold in our community.
Given the role that educators, parents, and community members play in a child's development, the vote of support is particularly gratifying as we endeavor to nurture and educate the next generation together.
